Our providers participate in most all of the major health insurance plans in the region. The following are the health plans that we currently accept. If an insurance plan is not listed below, MRI of Louisiana will gladly discuss financial accommodations that are available on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and co-payments for which you could be responsible. Call 504-349-6191 to verify insurance and your deductible.
Will Insurance Cover My Exam?
Most MRI exams are covered by most insurance plans. Some insurances require pre-authorization for MRI scans. If you are not sure whether your insurance plan will cover your MRI exam, please contact us at (504)349-6191. Please bring your insurance card and referral/authorization form (if necessary), and co-payment or deductible on the day of your appointment. Payment is expected at the time of your visit.
What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept all major credit cards; Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover Card, Check and Cash. We also offer Care Credit upon request.
What Is Global Billing?
Global Billing means there are no hidden fees. Radiologist fees for reading the exams are included in the exam price. Many of our competitors do not offer this type of billing.
